Over twenty of the world’s most renowned jewellery houses will present their finest creations to an independent jury. The Grand Prix de la Haute Joaillerie honors the excellence, innovation, and artistry that define high jewellery. Through a series of prestigious distinctions, it celebrates both heritage and innovation, spotlighting those who shape the past, present, and future of the craft.
AWARDED CATEGORIES
Based on their reputation among collectors and within the market, unique pieces selected by a jury of experts will, be showcased for their exceptional creativity and savoir-faire.

GRAND PRIX
BEST PIECE OF THE YEAR
Rewards the most beautiful piece of the year, based on the quality of craftsmanship and its coherence with the brand's history and style.

JURY’S SPECIAL PRIZE
Recognizes a brand for its entire body of work or a particularly cohesive collection or creator.

GRAND PRIX FOR DESIGN
Awards a model whose craftsmanship, proportions, aesthetics, and originality add unique value to high jewelry.

HERITAGE PRIZE
Honors a piece emblematic of a brand's style and expertise, which has marked its history or that of jewelry as a whole. The presented model must be a unique piece and created before 2020.

SAVOIR FAIRE PRIZE
Rewards virtuosos (a brand, subcontracting workshop, or mastercrafts man) for manufacturing, finishes, settings, polishing, and transformable pieces.

GEMSTONE PRIZE
Rewards a jewel or a diamond or colored gemstone buyer who revives interest in lesser-used gems (zircon, spinel).

PRIZE OF THE PUBLIC
Rewards a jewellery set in competition, chosen by public vote, exhibited in Monaco, and presented on the Grand Prix application.

BEST NEW TALENT PRIZE
Honors a promising, yet-to-beestablished designer/jeweller in the high jewelry field, preferably one who has already created a highjewelry piece.

Presided over by the renowned Fabienne Reybaud — a leading expert and respected voice in high jewellery — this year’s jury unites distinguished figures from diverse fields, each bringing their own passion and savoir-faire.

Based on their reputation among collectors and within the market, unique pieces selected by a jury of experts will, be showcased for their exceptional creativity and savoir-faire.

CONFITIONS FOR SUBMISSION

NATURAL
STONES
All stones set in the jewellery pieces competing must be natural. Synthetic diamonds and stones are not accepted.

SUBMITTED
PIECES
The pieces presented at the Grand Prix de la Haute Joaillerie 2025 must have been crafted between January 1, 2024, and October 25, 2025, except for the heritage prize.

VALUE OF
THE PIECES
These high-jewelry pieces, with a public price of at least €100,000, must have been designed explicitly to adorn the human body (rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, long necklaces, tiaras, hair jewelry, brooches, etc.).

COMPOSITION
OF THE PIECES
All millésimées high-jewellery pieces must be made of 18, 22, or 25-carat gold or platinum. Certain elements may

PROCESS
Upon registering for the GPHJ before March 31, 2025, the houses must submit a drawing (gouaché) and/or a photo of the pieces they wish to enter into the competition. The finished models will then be presented to the jury on September 25 and 26, 2025, in Paris. They will be exhibited in Monaco during the week preceding the GPHJ, allowing the public to discover them and vote for their favorite set via a dedicated app.

NUMBER OF MODELS
Each house may propose up to three high-jewelry models created in 2024 and/or 2025, as well as one older piece (pre-2020) for the Heritage Prize. The high-jewelry pieces presented for the Heritage Prize must be unique.

MODELS
Models with a function other than jewelry sets (e.g., boxes or vanities, mobile phone cases, trays, watches, desk clocks, etc.) cannot compete in the GPHJ.
